1-116th hosts historic Virginia 10 Miler in Iraq

COB ADDER, Iraq — Lynchburg’s own 1st Battalion, 116th Infantry Regiment hosted an Iraq version of the historic Lynchburg-based Virginia 10 Miler race July 27 at their post in Southern Iraq. The Virginia Army National Guard unit is currently deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
